MOBILITY | GAC launches three new MPVs in Philippines
The three models, collectively called the GAC MPV Family, were introduced in Manila on July 30.

GAC Philippines has expanded its local vehicle lineup with the launch of three new multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs): the All-New GN6, E8 HEV, and GN8 PHEV Executive, targeting buyers ranging from families to business users and executives.
The three models, collectively called the GAC MPV Family, were introduced in Manila on July 30. The lineup consists of a gasoline-powered entry-level model, a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), and a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), reflecting the company’s push to broaden its presence in the Philippine MPV market.
“The official launch of the GAC MPV Family marks an important milestone in the continued growth of GAC Philippines,” said Calvin Cheng, general manager of GAC Philippines. “With three distinct models, we are bringing Filipino customers a complete MPV lineup that can serve their changing needs, from flexible daily transit to premium travel and executive mobility.”
The All-New GN6 is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 176.7 PS and 270 Nm of torque. It features a seven-seat cabin, fold-flat third-row seats, a 14.6-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and advanced driver assistance features.
The E8 HEV combines a 2.0-liter hybrid engine with an electric motor, offering a claimed driving range of more than 1,000 kilometers on a full tank. It includes up to 18 seating configurations, Zero Gravity second-row seats, and intelligent driving technologies such as Traffic Jam Assist and Integrated Cruise Assist.
At the top of the lineup, the GN8 PHEV Executive pairs a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with an electric motor, producing a combined 373 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque. The company said the plug-in hybrid can travel up to 120 kilometers on electric power alone under NEDC testing and has a total combined range of up to 1,038 kilometers.
The All-New GN6 has a suggested retail price of $1,298,000, with an introductory price of $1,198,000. The E8 HEV starts at $1,858,000 for the GL variant and $1,998,000 for the GX variant, with introductory prices of $1,778,000 and $1,918,000, respectively.
