GAC Philippines recently unveiled the 2026 Emzoom in Manila, introducing updated design, new in-cabin technology, and revised features for the subcompact crossover segment.

The five-seater model enters the Philippine market in two variants—GB and R-Style—both carrying exterior refinements such as a redesigned grille and sharper detailing.

The 2026 Emzoom is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline direct injection engine paired with a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, producing 174 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque.

Inside, the vehicle features a larger 14.6-inch multifunction touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration. Higher trims add features such as ventilated seats, wireless charging, and advanced parking assistance.

The GB variant introduces a “Star Diamond” grille design and adds features such as automatic headlights, auto-sensing windshield wipers, and a second-row seatbelt warning system.

The R-Style variant focuses on a sportier configuration, including a Black Edition grille, 18-inch tires, a ventilated driver’s seat, and a 50W wireless charger. It also adds driver-assistance features such as integrated parking assistance and blind spot video monitoring.

GAC Philippines set indicative pre-sale pricing at P1,059,900 for the Emzoom GB and P1,159,900 for the Emzoom R-Style. Available exterior colors for the GB include Graphene Grey, Ivory White, Moonlight Grey, and Superstar Silver, paired with blue-and-black or brown-and-black interiors.

The company said it continues to expand its local network, with 30 dealerships nationwide and a Manila-based parts warehouse to support after-sales service. Warranty coverage reaches up to five years for internal combustion models, along with two years of roadside assistance.

The Emzoom builds on the previous GS3 Emzoom, which recorded over 8,000 customers in the Philippines, as the brand aims to sustain its presence in the competitive subcompact crossover market.
