GADGETS | LG highlights big-screen gaming with 100-inch QNED TV

LG Electronics is promoting large-screen gaming at home with the launch of its 100-inch QNED86 television, positioning it as a display designed for immersive gameplay across genres.
The company said the model integrates features such as AI Picture Pro, AI Sound Pro, and the α8 AI Processor Gen2, along with support for Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, HDR10, and HLG. It also includes Dynamic QNED Color Pro, 100% Color Volume certification, and webOS Re:new.

LG cited several game titles that benefit from large-screen play. Platformer Astro Bot was highlighted for its bright visuals and varied environments, which can take advantage of expanded color reproduction. Racing title Forza Horizon 5 was noted for its detailed world and lighting, with the larger display emphasizing environmental scale and motion.
For narrative-driven experiences, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was cited for its cinematic presentation, with audio features such as Dolby Atmos supporting dialogue and environmental sound. Role-playing titles such as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Metaphor: ReFantazio were also mentioned, with the company pointing to immersion and long-form storytelling as key strengths when paired with a larger display.
The company said different genres benefit from different display capabilities, including color performance, motion handling, and audio output. It added that the 100-inch QNED86 is designed to support a range of gaming experiences, from fast-paced titles to story-driven games.
LG positioned the device as part of a broader home entertainment setup, where gaming, video content, and streaming are integrated into a single platform.
