MOBILITY | JETOUR hybrid models drive 177% sales growth
The T1 Lightning i-DM hybrid SUV was among the company’s top-selling models during the period, contributing to the brand’s sales growth.
JETOUR Auto Philippines reported a 177% year-on-year increase in retail sales during the first five months of 2026, fueled by strong demand for its electrified vehicle lineup.
The company sold 1,553 vehicles from January to May, up from 561 units in the same period last year. Electrified models accounted for 1,399 units, or 90% of total sales.
In May alone, JETOUR sold 484 units, compared with 163 units in May 2025. The company also reported sales of 362 units in March, up from 122 units a year earlier, and 402 units in April, compared with 105 units in April 2025.
The T1 Lightning i-DM hybrid SUV was among the company’s top-selling models during the period, contributing to the brand’s sales growth.
JETOUR began expanding its electrified lineup in the Philippines in 2025 with the introduction of the Dashing Lightning i-DM and X70 Lightning i-DM plug-in hybrid vehicles. It later added the T1 Lightning i-DM and T2 Lightning i-DM models to its portfolio.
The automaker is also preparing to enter the premium hybrid and off-road vehicle segment through its GAIA line, which includes the upcoming GAIA G700.
“Consumers are clearly responding to JETOUR’s direction and our growing electrified vehicle line-up,” said Nikko Sayson, sales director of JETOUR Auto Philippines. “The strong performance of the T1 Lightning i-DM proves that the market is ready for smart and accessible hybrid mobility, while the introduction of the JETOUR GAIA reflects JETOUR’s commitment to expanding into the premium segment with products that combine innovation, technology, and lifestyle appeal.”
JETOUR showcased its electrified vehicle range at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show held June 4-7 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
