TRAVEL | Navigator of the Seas begins Singapore season

Navigator of the Seas begins Singapore season

Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas arrived in Singapore on Oct. 29, 2026, beginning a yearlong season of cruises from the city-state to destinations across Southeast Asia and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

The ship will operate from Singapore through October 2027, offering itineraries ranging from two- to five-night getaways to longer voyages visiting Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

The shorter cruises include stops in Penang and Langkawi in Malaysia and Phuket in Thailand. A 10-night itinerary will visit Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang in Vietnam, with an overnight stay in Bangkok, Thailand.

For longer trips, 12-night voyages between Singapore and Tokyo will include destinations in Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

“Navigator of the Seas’ arrival in Singapore marks a game-changing moment for Royal Caribbean, making it easier for vacationers to discover more of Asia from one convenient homeport,” said Ben Bouldin, president of Greater China and managing director for Asia at Royal Caribbean.

The ship offers attractions and activities for families and other travelers, including The Blaster and Riptide waterslides, Battle for Planet Z laser tag, the Royal Escape Room and the Splashaway Bay aquapark.

Dining options include Japanese cuisine at Izumi, Italian dishes at Jamie’s Italian and seafood at Hooked. Entertainment venues include the Royal Theater, The Bamboo Room and The Lime and Coconut.

The Singapore deployment is part of Royal Caribbean’s 2027-28 Asia-Pacific cruise lineup. From January to April 2028, Voyager of the Seas will sail from Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo, while Ovation of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas will operate itineraries from Brisbane and Sydney, Australia.

Quantum of the Seas is scheduled to follow Navigator of the Seas in Singapore, with cruises beginning in October 2027.

Bouldin said the Singapore deployment would give families and friends more options for exploring the region through short and longer cruises.
