Dongfeng Motors Philippines launched a new electric SUV with a claimed driving range of 530 kilometers and a price of P1.398 million at the 14th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit on Oct. 22, 2026.
The Dongfeng Mage EV is positioned for both private motorists and business operators, including transport network vehicle services (TNVS). The company cited its driving range, charging capability and estimated operating cost as key features for customers considering electric mobility.
The vehicle supports DC fast charging, with the company stating that charging takes approximately 30 minutes. It also has a 413-liter luggage compartment and a cabin designed for comfort and everyday use.
Dongfeng Motors Philippines estimates the Mage EV’s driving cost at P2 per kilometer, positioning it as an option for daily commuting and commercial transport operations.
The launch was attended by automotive media representatives, industry stakeholders and partners, including Tara Global Technology Inc.
With the Mage EV, Dongfeng expands its Philippine lineup of electrified vehicles. Its existing offerings include the Vigo EV, Nammi EV, Huge Hybrid and E70, alongside gasoline-powered models such as the Mage, Rich 7 and Forthing U-Tour.
Legado Motors Inc. is the official distributor of Dongfeng vehicles in the Philippines.
